Owensboro truck driver dies in mishap at Iowa warehouse | News
A truck driver from Owensboro was killed in a freak accident in Davenport, Iowa Tuesday night.
Police say Eugene S Perry Jr , 50, had made a stop at Estes Warehouse and was hooking a dolly to a semi trailer. He was standing between the dolly, which was connected to the tractor unit, and the trailer when the trailer rolled backwards pinning him.
He was taken via ambulance to Genesis East Medical Center by MEDIC EMS but died shortly after arriving.
It is believed the accident happened between 8:10 and 8:45 p.m. when he was found.
The Investigation is continuing.
